This giant chess set adorns the lawn of the historic Mount Washington Hotel at Bretton Woods, New Hampshire for the amusement of their guests. The King stands approximately three feet tall. A fitting addition to the super sized historic hotel that stands nearby. Be sure and visit the hotel itself if you have time. Actually using the chess set to play a game is reserved for the hotel's registered guests. The hotel driveway to access this waymark is off US Route 302 in Carrol NH.
