The weather-dependent views can be amazing, and include Mt. Mitchell, Mt. Pisgah and Cold Mountain! To get there take US 276 south from I-40 (or north from Maggie Valley/Waynesville). Turn on to Hemphill Road and take it all the way (a couple of miles) until it turns into a dirt road called Purchase Road. Cars are not allowed up to the center without prior approval so you may have to park and hike up. (The hike is quite scenic in and of itself.) A shot of you at the webcam or on the webcam is required to log this waymark as a "find".
