By the New Jersey Transit waiting area, suspended from a rotating chain within a glass enclosure, is a series of sculptures extolling New Jersey attractions.

The Jersey Devil, which was first reported in Leeds Point, NJ in 1735, circles solo around the enclosure. The devil, which has been repeatedly reported sighted in the pine barrens New Jersey, is a fearsome creature described as being a bat-like, flying, two legged creature with hooves on its feet and horns on its head, with forearms that are small and clawed. The red and black sculpture on display closely resembles the description. On the side is the two line inscription:

Leeds Point
1735

Mr. Peanut appears on the Atlantic City float. The character is a long time attraction outside the Planter's Peanut store on the famous Atlantic City boardwalk. Mr. Peanut is shown holding a model of the Lucy the Elephant, an elephant shaped building in nearby Margate City, NJ. Also on the float are characters represent the Miss America Beauty Pageant which takes place in Atlantic City.

Other floats honor the cities of Paterson and Newark and Trenton and the Revolutionary War Battle of Trenton. The Trenton float has state capitol, Washington on a horse, Hessian Soldiers, and the bridge over the Delaware River that has the slogan:

TRENTON MAKES THE WORLD TAKES
