Made up of two large upright granite stones engraved with the names of local Thorsby veterans of many U.S. wars.
Surrounding the stones are the American flag and those of each of the armed services.
This town was largely settle by Scandinavian immigrants.

Description of Memorial:
Located in the Richard H Wood Swedish Memorial Park in Thorsby, this memorial is alongside Highway 31. The annual Swedish Festival is held here every year. This small park has a pavilion, children's playground and restrooms.
