Who would have guessed one would stumble across Miss Liberty herself in a little town like Polson, Montana?

This is, however, exactly what happened for us. There is a museum along Highway 93 on the southern edge of Polson which calls itself the
Miracle of America Museum. It is actually the collection of a single individual that eventually became sufficiently large to evolve into a museum.
It is a very large and very eclectic collection, containing almost everything one would consider collectible, from china to howitzers, from boy scout badges to helicopters, from war memorabilia to stationary steam engines, from neon signs to gas pumps. It is a very interesting museum with something to appeal to almost everyone. It follows then, that if one has pretty much everything imaginable in one's collection, a Statue of Liberty replica would not appear out of place. This Miss Liberty greets all who enter the museum from above the main entrance, forever holding high her torch in welcome and clasping tight her tablet.
