The Pima County Fairgrounds is considered the largest event facility in Southern Arizona. It is home to the annual Pima County Fair.

The Pima County Fair runs annually for 11 days during April. It offers homemade crafts, school displays, exhibits, carnival rides, vendors, and concerts. There are extensive 4-H and FAA exhibits with the livestock show and sale being a highlight at the end of the fair. A petting zoo and pig races are another fun activity, especially for the younger visitors.
If you are an antique agricultural equipment fan, there is a large display including demonstrations.
The Bureau of Land Management holds a wild horse and burro adoption each year to find homes for many of these animals.
There is live entertainment nightly and a rodeo on the last Saturday evening of the fair.
The fairgrounds also feature concerts, NHRA drag racing, indoor and outdoor equestrian facilities, ASA racing, RV Parking, and 4 large exhibit buildings available for rental during the rest of the year.
