Iglesia de Santiago is the oldest church in Malaga. Its foundation dates back to 1490.

Situated on Calle Granada, this church was built on top of a former mosque. The central door and the beautiful tower are of Mudejar (Moorish) style while the interior of the Church is Gothic in design.

The restoration of the facade was completed in 2009.

A plaque says that famous painter Pablo Picasso was baptised in this church in 1881.

Opening hours: 8:00 to 13:00 and 17:00 to 20:00
