The beautiful Gothic church of St. Wenceslas and a nearby half-timbered Bell Tower are undoubtely landmarks of the village Mcely. Bell Tower is located in corner of small cemetary surrounding the church. Lower bricked part served formerly as a mortuary. In it upper wooden part were hanged two bells - Vaclav and Vojtech. While the smaller one - Vojtech - was requisited during a war, the bigger one, Vaclav (Wenceslaus)was casted according to datation in 1631 from remnants of the former bell which cracked during a great fire in these times.
