It shows two lions supporting a representation of the sun. Above the sun is a diamond with red and yellow vertical lines. The lines are taken from the flag of Mallorca.
The arms are painted onto white tiles next to the words 'Mercat Municipal' which are painted in blue. The market was opened in 1952.
