This is a traditional Buddhist temple had built on a plot of 1.3 acres by meditation master and founder of the New Kadampa Tradition ( NKT ) , Geshe Kelsang Gyatso .

At the altar inside the temple large statues of Buddha Shakyamuni , Tara , Avalokiteshvara , Je Tsongkhapa and children, the Five Strains of Dorje Shugden statue and the newly merged Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso can be enjoyed . Admiring these blessed statues , leaves etched in our minds powerful images , which in the future result in inner peace . The temple is open to the public , whether for individual or group visits .

According to Geshe Kelsang a Kadampa Temple is a special , sacred place where we can receive blessings and stick with powerful brands in our minds , that will result in profound inner peace.

Many Kadampa Temples are being built across the world as part of International Temples Project . Some are based on a traditional drawing and other contemporary designs . Temples are fully dedicated to world peace .

According to the explanation of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso , a Temple is a representation of a Pure Land , as the Tushita Heaven , where Je Tsongkhapa Tsongkhapa lives , or the Pure Land of Buddha Heruka and Vajrayogini .
