This apparently bronze sculpture depicts a man and his "one-man band" instruments. He is also atop a strange vehicle with one wheel in front about 8 inches in diameter and another in the back about two inches in diameter. Despite the drum, cymbols, horns and other instruments, the man is engrossed in a book which he holds out in front of himself with his right hand.
The artist of the 2010 work entilted "Nothing Like A Good Book" is Jack Morford. The donor is Boulder City Public Artscape.
Many of the pieces on the streets of Boulder City are for sale...this is not one of those.
