This clock once graced the Rapides Bank and Trust Co. building at 933 Second Street in downtown Alexandria. The Rapides Bank dates from 1898; however, this clock was added in 1926 following a remodeling in 1914.
The clock was removed from the Bank building at an unknown date, likely in 1954 when the bank moved its location two blocks south.

The clock is inoperable but it still retains that early 20th century character in its stained glass setting. It has four clock faces to the four cardinal directions.
The clock is suspended from a lighted red brick arched tower and is accessible from a parking area adjacent to it.
