Thatched roofs were formerly common also in Bohemia. But today they are so rare, that you have to visit museum to see it.

The Archeopark Všestary serves as a ‘Gate to Prehistory’.
The Prehistoric Archaeopark in Všestary contains:
- An open-air museum - constructions of prehistoric houses at 1:1 scale from the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages and cemeteries from different prehistoric eras.
- A building with prehistoric displays with a view from the display directly into a ‘prehistoric village’.
