This is a large - for Vientiene standards - park, completely open (no fences or any kind), a bit off the center but in an important area: not far from Patuxay, from the Army Museum and, above all, just in front of the most important temple of the country, Wat That Luang Neua.
In the dry season one can notice the lack of water. The park is still taken care, but watering should be more generous. Either way, one can notice the first signs of aging in the urban equipment installed in the park.
It's usually empty, apart from one or two small groups of kids from the nearby schools. Except when something extraordinary goes on in the temple...
