This is the confluence of Copper Creek and the Clinch River at Speers Ferry just below the Railroad Trestle known as the Copper Creek Viaduct.
Copper Creek begins in Russell County Virginia and winds it's way through Scott County, Virginia before reaching the Clinch River here at Speers Ferry.
The Clinch River begins in Tazewell County, Virginia and flows southwest through the Great Appalachian Valley, gathering various tributaries including the Powell River before joining the Tennessee River in East Tennessee. The Clinch River empties into the Tennessee River at Kingston, Tennessee.
