Star School Cemetery near Leann, MO - Worldwide Cemeteries on Waymarking.com

This cemetery is literally in someone's front yard. But they don't mind if you visit it, as long as you don't block the driveway. The cemetery is called either the Star Cemetery, for the nearby ghost town which was on the old stage route, or Star School Cemetery, since it was next to the school building that also served as a church and community center.

There are 5 relatively clear grave markers, and many other flag stones that could be grave markers with no names on them (or not readable), or foot markers. A MOGenWeb page gives a lot of information on the markers based on research using obituaries and other materials. The earliest recorded grave was from 1877, whilst the last recorded graves were in 1912.
