This large quarry was originally started to supply limestone for concrete, but later expanded to supply aggregate for lots of applications. It is a large quarry and supplies a large part of Barry County. Many of the roads around here have been coated, at one time or another, with limestone from Jenkins Quarry; and many of those were then sealed. It is not open to visitors, but contractors can phone and get loads.
