As the plaque reads:

This plaque was unveiled on July 31, 1998 to commemorate the centennial observations of the Town of Wolseley and to honor the contributions of the town's founders and its residents of the intervening period. Their hard work and diligence were rewarded by social and economic success enjoyed to this day.
