This is a memorial for the Bombing of the so-called 'Sonnenbunker', a civil defence shelter, which has been destroyed during an air raid on 2/22/1945 where 162 people died. It can be found at the 'Söflinger Straße' in Ulm, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.
On 2/22/1945 the most heavy air raid during World War II happend in Ulm. The shelter 'Sonnenbunker' was filled with people looking for protection. An air bomb hit the shelter directly. 162 people died - including 7 mothers and 24 children.
The memorial was sponsored by the inhabitants of Söflingen. The year of cretaion is unknown.
It includes a picture of an angel.
