This statue, officially called 'El Cristo de los Pescadores' which translates to 'Christ of the Fishermen', is about 2 metres (6.5 ft) tall on top of a 2 metres (6.5 ft) pedestal. The plaque reads:

Around the base of the statue is an inscription in both Spanish and English. The English version reads: "Father! Receive the souls of these brave fishermen who have sailed through this pass and never returned." There are numerous smaller plaques on the statue's base with the names of the fisherman who never returned.
There an admission charge to Isla Blanca Park. It is $6 per car during the day and about $2 after 5pm.
