The Ontario Department of Highways Land Surveys marker is surrounded by utility boxes at the edge of the property fence, west of the Carmichael Sideroad, south of what was once the Renfrew sub of the Canadian National Railway. The marker should date from before 1971 when the Department of Highways became the Ministry of Transportation and Communications.
