This big bell, is maybe 2m tall, and is rung by a large wooden knocker, which, unfortunately, may only be used by designated monks. The bell is inside a small room, at the top of a set of stairs leading from the ground floor to the upper level of the temple. The temple may be visited without restriction, though a donation is the thing to do. The bell is the ornamental, Chinese styled, Thai Buddhist bell, found in larger temples in the Kingdom of Thailand.

This temple is one of the major such in the Nonthaburi province, which is located immediately north of Bangkok. It is a Chinese temple, redolent with dragons, the colour red, and lots of style.
