This is a small but charming arch bridge going over the Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem canal, in Bangkok

The bridge was originally built during the reign of king Rama IV, in the middle of the 19th Century. king Rama V ordered a new bridge to be built here in 1898. Finally, king Rama VI commanded a restyling of the bridge following the European influence, and the bridge was ornamented with a charming balustrade and light poles, as well as decorative elements based in the image of lions heads.

Later this bridge was registered as National Heritage by the Department of Fine Arts.
