This sculpture depicts circular tubes encircling each other and thereby giving the appearance of a giant atom.
The plaque reads:

"Concentricity
Artist: Fedrico Aguirre

I live my life widening circles
That reach out across the world
I may not ever complete the last one,
But I give myself to it.

Rainer Maria Rilke

Donor
The Jameson Family
2008"

Although Boulder City has many sculptures on display throughout the city...some of them are offered for sale. This one has no price quoted so it seems to be one of the permanent ones.
