The 9/11 Memorial is a fenced area in Liberty Park. Liberty Park was created in 2004 for this Memorial. Five years later,
San Juan War Memorial was added outside the fenced area.
The largest feature of the 9/11 Memorial is the tallest flagpole in all of South Texas.
Other features include six normal sized flagpoles with US Flags and a flag of each branch of the military.
There are numerous brass plaques and engraved stones in the memorial.
