The Depot dates from 1917. The Depot was listed on the NRHP on 25 October 1984.
One of the interesting features of this Mission / Spanish Revival style building is the side door, painted blue and resembling the TARDIS from the Doctor Who series of television shows.
There is plentiful parking immediately adjacent to the Depot, and also on the surrounding lawn are rusty old handcarts retired from rail use, and a chapel called the China Grove Church and School, and an old residence now on display.
The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday, 1pm to 5pm.
