Blažej Gryspek z Gryspachu was son of Florian Gryspek z Gryspachu (*December 18, 1504 in Innsbruck – †March 9, 1588 in Nelahozeves). Florian Gryspek was Bohemian nobleman of Bavarian-Austrian origin, influential court official for Emperor Ferdinand I. and also builder/owner of Nelahozeves chateau. Blažej Gryspek finished the work of his father, construction of the chateau.
Nelahozeves chateau, the three-winged Renaissance structure of Italian castello type with arcades in the yard, belongs among treasures of Renaissance architecture in Czech Lands.
