This Blue Star Memorial Highway marker is on the east side of Highway 93, 1.2 miles south of Highway 212, the turnoff to Charlo, Montana.

Ninepipes Lodge is about 1.2 miles south of the Charlo Road and we decided to stop there for the Sunday Brunch Buffet. It was pretty good, BTW. The restaurant has a view of the Rockies out the large east windows which is quite impressive, particularly in April when the mountains are still snow capped.
To the south of the lodge is the Ninepipes Museum, so we decided to wander down and take some pix of it while we were there. That was when we spotted this smarker. It stands by the highway in front of the museum's large sign - very hard to miss.
The sign is sponsored by the Montana State Federation of Garden Clubs and the Montana State Highway Department.
