The stunning mosaics, are set into the terrazzo flooring walkway, between the International arrivals Terminal 'E' central car park, and terminal 'A'. The Sea creature sculpture is called Atlantic Journey, designed by Jane Goldman, was laid by DePali Mosaic in 1999.
The walkways are all public access areas, and are open 24/7.
"In Atlantic Journeys, the ocean and the creatures that one might find there as one progresses to deeper and deeper water are depicted in 35,000 square feet of terrazzo flooring inlaid in the walkway that connects Terminals A and E. Some of the creatures that are represented are a lobster, a naked sea butterfly, a red sea star, a skate, and a mother whale and her calf. All are seen as though they were at their proper depth.
