The memorial is at the edge of a shopping center in Sacramento. The memorial has an eagle on top with its wings spread open. It sits on a rock that's about 10 ft tall. A plaque on the rock reads:

"This Project Is Dedicated To The Men And Women Who Served In World War 2 Who Are Recognized As The Greatest Generation Of Out Rime. February 29, 2008. Petrovich Development Company."
