Zámek byl postaven pravdepodobne v polovine 16. stol. na míste bývalé tvrze. Zacátkem 19. stol. došlo k požáru, který zámek znacne poškodil. V soucasné dobe zde sídlí strední odborné ucilište.

The castle was probably built in the 16th century on the site of a medieval fortress. In the early 19th century there was a fire that extensively damaged the castle. At present, it houses the vocational school.
