The Grempsche Haus dates from the years 1582-1593, it is located near the Kirchplatz (church square). It is the most important secular building which is preserved in the once independent village Bockenheim from the early modern era. It was once part of the manor of the family Gremp von Freudenstein. The stone Renaissance building has two floors and an octagonal stair tower.
