Dieser Anker wurde am 03.10.1978 in der Nähe der Insel Borkum gefunden und zwar von einem Greetsieler Krabbenkutter. Da der handgeschmiedete Anker 3,2 Tonnen wiegt, dauerte die Bergung acht Stunden. Auf einer Infotafel finden sich alle Details.
The anchor was found in Oktober 1978 at Borkum island by fishermen from the nearby harbour of Greetsiel. With more than 3 tons of weight the fishermen need 8 hours to recover this anchor. There is an info sign available near the anchor.
