This small white marble war memorial was erected in 1976 on the north side of the Briscoe County Courthouse grounds in downtown Silverton TX.
It is one of two veterans memorials here.
Be sure and stop in at the Old Jail next door and say hi to local character and charming storyteller Jerry Baker -- if he doesn't see you first!!! :)
