The Mural of 'The Shelley Singers' commissioned by Rhondda Cynon Taff Community Arts and was made by Andrew Bolton.
The mosaic uses ceramic pieces, with the actual faces of the choir members, set into solid ceramics.
"Eiddwen Griffiths Davies was musical director of the Shelley Singers. The group was named after the hall in Pontypridd where they practised. They were to enjoy considerable radio and television success becoming nationally admired through the popular Sunday series, 'Croeso'." Text Source: (
