In downtown Wellston (population 777), a park in located on the south side of 2nd Street. This street is part of the original Route 66 through Wellston.
The gazebo is six sided, with an opening on the east and west. The remaining four sides each have a wood bench. The gazebo has a concrete foundation, with wood supports and a vertical wood railing on four sides. The roof is composition shingled and has a small cupola at the top.
Leading to the gazebo from the west is a path of dedicated pavers, financially supporting this park endeavor. A long painted mural on the east and south sides of the park depicts the history of Wellston.
