This 1.6 million gallon steel standpipe is located in Orono, Maine off of Forest Ave. It is part of the Orono-Veazie Water District system. It was constructed in 1977 to replace a old standpipe built in 1905 at the same location. The standpipe is accessible via the trail system of Rampe Conservation Easement.
