A fairly recent addition to the park, this is one of a number of Rotary projects within the park. Not only were the Rotarians instrumental in having the park created in 1922, but they have been adding to it ever since, whether it be planting trees, replacing playground equipment or building this pavilion.

We're not sure what purposes the pavilion serves, but it is lit inside for evening use. There is no other covered structure in the park, so it may, among other things, serve as a bandstand.
