On display are two small water turbine runners. These are Francis style turbines used on the nearby Blackstone River to power mills in the 1800s. When in operation, water from a dam would flow through them from a penstock creating power. The turbines were produced in the mid 1800s and were put on display in 2006 when the new rest area was built.
