This Grand Opening Plaque commemorated the Grand Opening of the Battlefield Park Pavilion in 2000. Battlefield Park is the home of the Battle of Stoney Creek National Historic Site of Canada and is the location of the annual Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek.
About the Battlefield Park Pavilion:
This large pavilion contains public washrooms, a concession room available for rental to groups using the Park to serve prepared foods and drink, and provides a covered picnic table area. It has an unusual "plus-shaped" footprint.
