With more than 160 species of birds, the Charca de Suarez has become the most important wetland of the coast of Granada.
We found this great birdwatching location through geocaching (eartcache GC1JYCA). We arrived at 10:15 just too late for the first guided tour. That Saturday in March, the tours were at 10:00, 11:30 and 13:00. We were lucky to have a great guide who could speak english and gave us lots of information. See our 11 pictures.
Street parking is available on Camino del Pelaillo, just in front of the entrance to the reserve where the coordinates were taken.
