DIFFERENCES NOTED BETWEEN THE INVENTORY LISTING AND YOUR OBSERVATIONS AND RESEARCH:
Lots: please see text of the four side above. The text shown in the listing as being on the lower right of statue, I could not find. On the left bronze base of statue under statue's foot "Fredrica [sic] C. Hibbard, Sc. 1917" is exactly like this. On the granite base 4 (four) copper plaques appear. Two with scenes of Doniphans 1846 military life (shown in photo gallery), and two with text. Text is listed above & shown in the photo gallery. Proper description is close. It states he is leaning on a "walking stick" in his proper right hand. Actually he is holding his sword in the final move of a proper sword salute.
