A member of the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group, this station is country and nothing but country. Of course, they do news and sports on the hour, but it's all country in between. One feature we like is the fact that they mix some classic country in with the contemporary stuff for a C&W Blast from the Past.

Surrounded by mountains, and having a broadcast tower less than 100 feet tall, the signal doesn't get out a long way, but that's not their mission. They're just a small local station. The station began broadcasting in 1995 as CKKR. In 2000 it changed format and call sign and became CHBZ.
