This mill, registered as Morrison Mill, was, and is, known as Liberty's Pioneer Mill, and Burnt Prairie Mill.

On Site an Illinois Historic Marker: (in photos taken by other since my visit the marker is either knocked down in the grass, or missing altogether):

Date marker erected: 1967

Marker Text:
This mill, started in 1833 by Andrew Smith, was continued by his descendants, the Morrison family, until 1984. The flint mill stones, imported from France, have been grinding corn since 1859. The town named Liberty by Scotch pioneers who settled here around 1816 was later renamed Burnt Prairie.
