Popping up all over town are these unique additions to literature enjoyment - the Little Free Libraries. Begun in 2009 and sponsored by various groups and individuals, their motto is "Take a Book / Return a Book".

This library is located at N.W. 28th and Venice. The sturdy brick box, mounted on a brick pillar, has a recessed glass door to protect the books inside. The LittleFreeLibrary.org website is displayed on the box, showing the Charter No. 6470. A white metal bench is located next to the library for the convenience of visitors.
