Puvodne románská stavba kostela pochází již z druhé poloviny 12. století. Gotická prestavba probehla ve 14. století, již v té dobe prokazatelne sloužil jako kostel hrbitovní. Rozsáhlejší rekonstrukce kostela a jeho rozšírení probehlo v r. 1764.

Originally a Romanesque church building dates from the second half of the 12th century. Gothic rebuilding took place in the 14th century, which were known to serve as the church cemetery. Extensive renovations and expansion took place in the year in 1764.
