The Grotto is a beautiful sanctuary with many areas available for colitude and contemplation. This sculpture is located in the Christus Garden and depicts Jesus carrying his cross while wearing a crown of thorns. The work is larger than life-sized and set atop a three-level stone pyramid.
Unfortunately there is no sign at the site indicating the artist, title or date.
