Forest Lawn Cemetery is a large cemetery with about 3900 interments and is still active. It is well maintained by the Town of Creston.
Based on information the cemetery began in about 1940. However, the earliest burials that I could find were in 1947.
As part of the Forest Lawn Cemetery is a designated area for Veterans from all wars with approximately 300 grave sites. The Canadian Legion Cemetery is to the right of this sign.
The Forest Lawn Cemetery is about 4.5 km NE of Creston. Travel east on Hwy. 3 until you reach the intersection of Hwy. 3 and 36th Avenue. Turn north on 36th Avenue, it is less than a km, the cemetery is on your right, just before the bend in the road.
