The FFirst Hagerstown Hose Company station was built in 1881 for the fire company which was founded in 1815. The three story station has been modified over the years but the front facade has remained intact above the first floor. When the station was built it had a ballroom on the third floor and hosted many social events. The Victorian style station continues in use with one engine at the station. The fire company is in the process of converting part of the first floor to a museum.
