The church supports several ministries through the Helping Hands Ministries. Most recently members of the church, along with members of their sister church in Creston travelled to Costa Rica to do missionary work.
The church building itself appears to be of indeterminate age. It is in a somewhat older neighborhood but may be newer than the surrounding houses. Inside is newly renovated.
